Returns
Firearms, ammunition, and items ordered to your spec have specific rules. Everything else: 30 days, unused, refund to original payment. Defects always get fixed.
Firearms: non-returnable once transferred
A firearm transferred to you on a 4473 is yours. Federal law and our liability insurance both close that door — once you've taken possession, we cannot accept it back as a return. Industry-wide; this is not a TPA policy choice.
Before transfer, you can cancel any time. Email [email protected] with your order ID; we refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. If we'd already received the firearm from the supplier, an inbound restocking fee may apply (passed through from the supplier, typically 10–15%).
Firearms: defect handling
A non-functioning firearm at the counter, or a manufacturing defect discovered after transfer, is the manufacturer's warranty case — not a return. We help you file it:
- Notify us within 5 business days of discovery. Photos help.
- We coordinate with the manufacturer (Glock, Sig, Smith & Wesson, etc.) on the warranty path. Some require return to factory; some authorize repair at our bench.
- If the manufacturer declares the firearm a total-loss defect, we'll either swap to an equivalent unit or refund — your call. The shipping back to the factory is on us in this scenario.
Ammunition
Ammunition is non-returnable. Federal regulation around handling, storage, and chain-of-custody makes it impractical for us to accept returned ammo back into inventory. Even if you bought the wrong caliber. We're sorry; we don't make this rule.
Manufacturing defects (squibs, primer issues, brass defects) get the same warranty-coordination path as firearms — we'll work with the ammo maker on your behalf.
Ordered-to-spec items (outfitting)
Items we sourced for you through our outfitting flow — packs, layers, knives, headlamps, etc., ordered to your spec — are non-returnable once shipped from our supplier. Same rule as the supplier's wholesale terms; we don't carry the deadstock cost.
Exceptions: defects (covered by the manufacturer's warranty, which we help you claim) and our error (wrong item shipped, mis-described on this site — we cover those at no cost to you).
Everything else: 30 days, unused
Optics, accessories, gear (off-the-shelf, not ordered-to-spec), and merch can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund to your original payment method. Conditions:
- Unused, with original packaging where possible.
- Mounted optics: we can accept these if mounting was done at our bench. Return it to us in-box and we'll re-shelve.
- Merch: unworn, tags attached.
- You pay return shipping unless the item was defective or our error.
Refunds process within 5–10 business days of us receiving the return. We email confirmation when we issue the refund.
Customization & engraving
Work done on your firearm — optic mounts, cerakote, stippling, engraving, NFA serialization — is not refundable once completed. Custom work alters your firearm; we can't undo it and we can't resell that labor to anyone else.
If we made an error in the work (wrong serial engraved, optic mounted at the wrong torque, etc.), we fix it at no cost to you. Tell us within 14 days of pickup.
How to start a return
Email [email protected] with your order ID and what you'd like to return. We'll confirm eligibility, generate a return label if applicable, and walk you through it. You can also bring eligible returns to your next appointment if you're local — saves the shipping leg.
Refund methods
- Card payments: reverse to the original card. 5–10 business days to show up depending on your bank.
- Cash: refunded in cash at the counter.
- Zelle: reversed via Zelle.
- We don't issue store credit by default. Ask if you'd prefer it.
